Good morning, love! Welcome to your 40th year.
My mind and heart are all about you today, Sonya, as I ponder the many gifts you’ve brought into this family, perhaps the most powerful being diversity and inclusion.
The quintessential teacher, you’ve taught us (both Dennis and I, in different ways) that the expression of a person’s true essence is to be honored. And we do honor you, in all the ways that you show up for life.
It’s magic to watch as you bring a message from your heart into the world, through your music. I’m certain that this process is healing for you, and you should know that it’s healing for us too.
Thank you for loving our daughter, unconditionally, and co-birthing a partnership that is a model for all.
As you embark on this next decade, take with you all of your accumulated wisdom, and trust that your inner instincts will help you make confident choices that will expand you in every direction.
Finally below, a musical tribute and a song that I sang for the first time 25 years ago for brother, Bob’s 40th, 10 years ago for Bill III’s 40th, and now I’m sharing this previously recorded video with you.
I love you more than this, or any writing can express.
Always, Your Mama Cassie
